This class will only be offered on Thursday's from 4:00-5:30. Course description: This is an ADVANCED Mixed Media class for student's that have previously taken my classes or are highly motivated in their art and can work independently, take their time to do a good job and focus on what they are doing. The first day of class we will be exploring a variety of artists from history and student's will choose which masterpieces they will be recreating with a fun twist by combining at least 2 different artists work and techniques, they will also be able to add their own personal touch in their vision. We will be working with a 16" wood round and learning to use different art mediums and techniques to create one of a kind masterpieces that they will be proud of. This project will take 9 weeks to complete. All supplies and a decorative easel will be provided to display their final project on. The second half of the course students will create their own mixed media art on a 16"X20" canvas using, paper, denim/fabric, paint, pastels and various embellishments to create their own art. Class size is limited to 6 students.
